So I asked my fellow animators to throw out the first song that came to their minds (except for Rebecca Black's "Friday" which seemed to be the popular choice!)
Note: Brad I apologize for not having John Lennon's original version of Jealous Guy, for some reason his work isn't available on Grooveshark. However, I replaced it with a cover version by the late great Elliot Smith!
I said the same thing when I watched her win the Grammy for Best New Artist last night... and then I listened to her music! I'm pretty sure she deserved that award, and then some!
My Co-Worker/Desk Neighbor at work (Jake) turned to me this morning and asked me which Soundtrack he should listen to today while animating. I promptly answered "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" without hesitation. I then decided to take up my own advice... I am glad I did. While I think of this as my favorite film of all time, somehow I forget how great the soundtrack really is! Hearing it out of context of the film is exhilarating in itself, I can't believe I never tried this before!
It snowed last night... not enough where I couldn't make it to work. In fact it was just 10 inches of light powder, not the fun wet snow you can build forts and snow animals out of! In honor of last nights "Storm" I share this with you!
This is my first "Concept" mix where I actually tried to tell a story through the music while staying true to the theme of Blizzard. Listen to it while you drive in a storm, or while you sit by the fire and watch the flakes fall outside!
